Being rich doesn't mean being happy... Even though you have stacks of money, all the things you could ever imagine in your house, popularity & lots of so called 'friends', they all do not guarantee your happiness- spiritual happiness, to be exact.
This is what I'm trying to portray here. I used my friend's ~Bloody-Sekhmet characters, Vivian & Vogelhund in this piece. Based on his comic, Xenopet, Vivian is an extremely rich girl. She seemed to be heavily spoiled & I'm guessing she always gets what she wants. In the story it was also mentioned that she is a poacher (or rather, her father), which confirmed her richness. However, nearing the end of the story (which I'm not gonna tell you about) I can see that she doesn't realy live a very pleasant, sugar-coated life.
And this here is somewhat a 'spin-off' of that- in which nobody's there to celebrate Christmas with her, other than Vogelhund. Not even her father. So she just coiled there upon the window near the Christmas tree, hugging Vogelhund. Despite being (maybe) controlled & tortured by her, Vogelhund just laid there keeping her company. All she could do is cry. Huge & grand presents meant nothing to her...
I nearly put snow in the background, but since I assume it's Indonesia, snow is an impossible thing... The shadows of the window are also wrong- they were supposed to be slunted, since the light source came from the left $H17...
